Sorrento loves Art
Tv Boy is the pseudonym of Italian artist Salvatore Benintende born in Palermo in 1980. He lived in Milan where he joined the Italian and international ‘street art’ scene in 1996 and soon became one of its leading exponents. After studying painting and illustration at the University of Bilbao, he graduated in ‘Industrial Design’ in Milan. He has exhibited his works in numerous international galleries and museums including the Iguapop Gallery in Barcelona in 2007, the Contemporary Art Pavilion in Milan in 2007, the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome in 2008, the We Love Asbaek Gallery in Copenhagen in 2008, the Progr Art Space in Berne (Switzerland) in 2008, the Aishiti Art Festival in Faqra (Lebanon) in 2008 and the Saragossa Museum of History in 2006 as well as having participated in various Urban Art events in Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Cuba and Lebanon. He resides in Barcelona, where he has his studio and is a professor at IDEP. He has collaborated as an artist-designer with prestigious Italian and international brands such as Fiat, Seven, La Rinascente, Smart, Gioco del Lotto, Nescafé.
