Biography
Fabio Sironi was born in Milan. Since 1982 he has been collaborating with the daily press, first with Il Giorno and then from 1987 with Corriere della Sera with illustrations, portraits, caricatures, graphic novels and reportages. In 1992 he received the UNICEF Award at the Bologna Children's Book Fair. His works have appeared in international publications and in numerous advertising campaigns.
Since 2016, he has been involved in the Teatro Fracking project, which brings together painting, music and video in the sign of performance. For Luni editrice in 2020 he illustrated ‘ Le avventure di Pinocchio “ and again for the same publishing house in 2022 he published ” Cento volti delle parole ’, a selection of one hundred portraits of characters from literature.
