Vincenzo Mascia, acquisition work Embassy Vilnius Lithuania

The gallery supports the artistic career growth of artist Vincenzo Mascia by bringing to the public’s attention the recent acquisition of one of his works at the Italian Embassy in Vilnius, Lithuania. The work is presented on Oct. 3 at the opening of the group exhibition “Art and Design in the Embassy. Contemporary Italy in Vilnius” curated by Guicciardo Sassoli de’ Bianchi Strozzi, Daniele Crippa, Manuela Valentini.

Vincenzo Mascia, a complex figure of architect, artist and designer, is a significant exponent of the International Madi Movement.

His works can be found in private collections and museum institutions such as the MADI Museum in Dallas, U.S.A. ), the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo Latinoamericano de La Plata (Argentina), the Pinacoteca Civica “Franco Libertucci” in Casacalenda (Campobasso), the Young Museum in Revere (Mantua), the Museo Civico d’Arte Contemporanea “Umbro Apollonio” in San Martino di Lupari (Padua), the Museum of Artistic and Historical Excellence MAGI ‘900 in Pieve di Cento (Bologna), the MAGA Museum in Gallarate (Varese), the MAGMA Museum in Roccamonfina, the Civic Museum of Vibo Valenzia, the Madi Museum of Candelaria (Argentina) and the International Center for Outdoor Sculpture-Museum of the Park of Portofino (Genoa), SyArt Outdoor Museum (Sorrento).

A conspicuous number of works belonging to the exploratory phases “dodecaphonic,” “analytical,” and “monochrome madi” can be seen in the gallery on the occasion of the Day of the Contemporary.
